Another day on the island, another day of things to do and an outfit to pick out. Today’s outfit….”baby girl”.
First things, first…. i checked out my new house expansion. There is a little more room and more available storage in the closet. That means… MOAR CLOTHES!
But, i need to look for the money tree hole first. OOH! That’s right! i still need to write about that! Tsuki told me that very morning there is a sparkle hole somewhere on the island. If i dig it up it will be 🔔1,000 Bells in the hole. BUUUT… it is a magic hole and if i put 🔔10,000 Bells back into it, a money tree will grow. HOW NEAT. Tsuki said to only put 🔔10,000 Bells in even if i have more because i will only get 3 – 🔔10,000 Bell bags when the tree matures. i wonder if that is really true? That would help with paying back my new loan.
Timmy and Tommy decided that they wanted to set up a more permanent store too. This way it would be easier for the locals to get essentials. Oh! … i am a local too! They needed so much wood. They also needed iron too. i found that i can get the iron from the rocks i found. And of course, they asked me to pick out the spot for the store. i feel so honored that they keep asking me to chose the locations of the buildings.
Mr. Nook asked me to set up a bridge. i found the perfect spot. Right next to where i set up the orchard for all the fruit trees i found on the island.
After that, he asked me to set up and build furniture for three new homes. THREE! That means three new friends! i hope Pinky is one of them.
Then i need to look for the rocks to get the materials and money from them. And then… the fossils. Once the fossils are collected, assessed, and donated, it is time to check on my friends.
Checking on your friends shows you care about them. i could not believe it but Buck and Plucky upgraded their tents to full-blown homes too! Buck said that i had inspired him to do it. Plucky was very busy crafting something. She shared her instructions with me and it was a hanging decoration called an Iron Doorplate.
The rest of the day i spent trying to make money by finding bugs, fish, and shells. One of the fossils i found was a duplicate so i was able to sell that for extra Bells. During the day there were so many peacock butterflies. They sell ok overall but they are the best selling bug i can find so far and they go for 🔔2,500 Bells each. Then at night, i also found 2 more tarantulas. They sell really well at 🔔8,000 Bells each. Wowzah!
i was able to make the last little bit of Bells just as the shop was closing. Then can you believe it… Mr. Nook talked me into expanding again! This time the loan is for 🔔287,000 Bells. Yikes! This means i will need to try harder tomorrow to pay it back…
i had a surprise visitor… my bestie Tsuki! i showed her my collection of things that i brought with me and from the balloons.
Then we played a game of tag in the hardwood forest. She beat me of course but that is because she is always so much more competitive and athletic than me. That is ok though, her being my opposite in some ways is one of the many many reasons i love her.
After we hung out at the beach. We get so animated when we are together and the selfies we took are so funny.
After she left. it was time to go to bed and rest up for tomorrow… i have a lotta Bells to earn!
