The day started off a little gloomy. Normally i love a good rain shower, but not when i need to catch butterflies for Bells. So this morning dressed in my “rainy day girl” outfit, i did some fishing.

Luckily around the morning snack time, the skies cleared up and i was able to wear my actual outfit for today: “island orange”. This has become the outfit that represents my island since i have oranges. It is so perfect and by far my favorite so far.

i checked on my friends. i listened to Lolly practice singing a song. She has a beautiful voice.

i talked to Isabell and she said that to make Mr. Nook’s dream of hosting a K.K. concert on the island, we need to get our island to five stars. Yes, like restuaint and hotel ratings. So she said to do that, i need to recruit others to live on the island. There you have it…. time to hunt more future islanders down.
On one of the islands i met Margie Elefant. i told her all about A’Lakn’kee and she was super interested. i gave her directions and she said she would come check it out and talk to Mr. Nook. That would be wonderful since we do not have any elephant folks yet.

Back on the island, i paid off the loan of 🔔 548,000 Bells. Having my house to the hill above the orchard is so amazing. It is pretty to walk through the trees of the orchard and up the hill. And, i am right next to a small river starting pond that falls into a waterfall. The sound the rushing water really helps me sleep better at night.
i went fishing a bunch. i even caught an Oarfish today. Man… those fishes are HUGE. Goot thing though because they are worth 🔔 9,000 Bells!

While chasing a tarantula, i bumped into a wisp. It scared the me so bad i lost the tarantula. The wisp though, they never seen a human before and thought i was a ghost. i guess i scared them more than they scared me. Even their spirit shattered and ran away in fear. After i introduced myself and they realized i was not a ghost, i promised to help put their spirit back to together by collecting the missing pieces. They were so happy that they gave me a gift. How thoughtful.

Now for my last night in my home in this spot.
