Happy Happy Sunday! Another Sunny day and it was perfect cause it is supposed to be sunny on Sunday, right? Spring was in the air and there was so much activity today!
First things first… getting dressed. Today is called “sugar & spice”.
The turnip girl visits islanders on Sunday mornings and leaves at noon. i realized i forgot to take out my Bells before the Resident Center closed for the renovations. YIKES! i cannot access the ABD machine today. 😱
Luckily most of my fruit trees were ready. So i ran around like a crazy person harvesting the oranges and other fruit. i did have a small supply stock and sold all that too.
After selling the stuff that i had, i had some Bells to be able to buy some turnips. They were 🔔95 Bells on my island but her cousin was selling them for 🔔94 on Cookie’s island. Cookie is Tsuki’s crush. So i flew to his island to buy them from her cousin.
There was an issue with some of my trees not growing. Did i plant them too close to each other? i think so so i moved them all to the main land and spaced them out. i will need to check on them tomorrow.
The museum was also closed for renovations today. i guess that means that Balthers’ application for the art expansion was approved! YAY!
Maybell also was on the island today. She sells clothes. i heard a rumor that if the islanders on A’Lakn’kee bought stuff from her enough times, she would expand out and build a shop on our island too. She did not have a lot that i liked today so i only bought a cute green flower clip.
The rest of the day was spending time with my friends.
Later after dinner Ven asked if he can come to my island to sell his fruit. Of course i said yes! It was late so i was not able to show him around, but i did show him where the store was.
i did some bug hunting and fish catching. i also gathered wood. There are a few trees that have a wasp nest in them. So far i keep getting stung like yesterday. But today, i was able to catch them! It was very difficult so i am really proud of myself.
Cookie said that he got all his tarantulas from a super secret island called Tarantula Island. If i am lucky, when i use my Nook ticket to go to a secret small deserted island it will be a Tarantula Island. Cookie also said to keep the bugs that sell for a high price because there is a bug collector named Flick. He buys bugs for 150% of their worth. That means a tarantula will sell for 🔔12,000 Bells instead of 🔔8,000 Bells!
i did not get Tarantula Island but i did get Falls Isle. This one had rare fish on it. i got a few snapping turtles, a new fish for the museum, and a few other high selling fish. i even found a fossil and a mole cricket.
So with my island adventures, i have great supply going for in the morning! i did remember to set aside the high selling bugs for when/if Flick wants to visit Isle A’Lakn’kee.
Now, time for bed. Well earned sleepy time after such a busy day! Tomorrow… i was invited to look at the catalog of stuff that Tsuki as on her island so that i can order it on mine. How exciting!
