Woke up to a sunny day! YAY! This means that peacock butterflies will flying about and i can catch them. i like catching bugs better than fish… Fish always smell… fishy.
Today’s outfit is bug inspired – “bee bee”.
The morning announcements warned us that there was a suspicious newcomer that was trying to sell us stuff. Mr. Nook gave me the impression that it was stolen goods. Curious, i had to see for myself. i did come across this shady islander and his name was Redd. He did not seem all that bad so i bought a pretty painting from him.
i asked Blathers about it and it was a valuable piece of art and he asked if i could donate it to the museum. If i did, he can submit to have an expansion on the museum. The museum upgrade will attract more future islanders. It sounded like a great idea so i did.
i checked in with all my friends. They were each happy to see me. We also have a third resident. Her name is Lolly Kat. i think we will be fast friends when she is all settled in and has time to hang out so we can get to know each other.
Venthos, he told me to just call him Ven, invited me to his island again. He met me at the airport and my insides gushed with happiness. Does he like me too!? We did so much together. We fished, he showed me his house – which is in need of desperate decorating, and i gave him a frog shirt that made me think of him. He loved it and put it on right away.
He was thinking of having someone come and help him better plan his island because he said that he has no idea how to decorate things. i offered my help (because that means i can go to his island more and see him) and he said he would have to think about it.
When i got home i did really well on catching fish and bugs. i almost have enough to pay off my loan again. As i was fishing i got a call from Tsuki and she asked me to come over to check out the new items in her shop. OH NOE! There goes all my heard work. 😰We did find some adorable things though and PACIS!!!! One of every color! i had to get one of each.
i went back home and remembered i wanted to see the butterflies in the day time. They were so pretty! So was the other bug exhibit. i am glad i took the time to see it in the day time.
Then… time to work double hard to get back what i just spent as well as the little bit i needed. But, it was all worth it cause i was able to pay off the loan and start a new one for the next expansion. YAY! i will now have 2 rooms! i am thinking of making that one the bathroom. my new loan… well it is now 🔔532,000 Bells. Wowzah…
Tomorrow will be interesting because i will not be able to go to the Resident Center so need to make sure that i do all the things i need to tonight.
