Welcome to another day on Isle A’Lakn’kee! Today’s outfit: “tuxedo dress” i wore a special dress for a special reason. ❤️

It rained most of the day so i played a lot in the house after my chores of finding money tree holes, fossils, rocks, and gathering wood. That is ok though because the new expansion was a room that i had to decorate and furnish. i think i did a good job…

i had a hard time taking the picture today… must be because i was very nervous for meeting a new friend later and i could not focus right. To help take my mind off it, i painted with my new water color set.

Pinky finished unpacking when i went to check on her. She was busy hammering away at her crafting station making a shell rug. She was so happy with me suggesting to live here that she shared her instructions. i cant wait until i have room in my house to make one for myself.
We have another new resident that moved in. His name is Beau Gazelle. He seems like the curious type. He was unpacking today but he did not seem like he wanted to. He was very excited to get out and meet everyone on the island.

Plucky was fishing a lot today by the ocean and Buck was doing workouts in the mud of the Residents Center. He is so silly.
The reason for special dress today was because i was invited to visit Venthos on his island. He is so cute! i met him when we were filling out our paperwork for the island get-a-way. Luck has it his island is not far from mine! He showed me where he was planning on putting things like the shop and the orchard. His island has peaches and roses. Peaches are my favorite. And, oranges are his! How crazy is that that we have each others favorites!

When i got home the rain cleared up so i tried to do my best to make the Bells to pay off that new loan. The supply i had created the night before really helped with that. Timmy and Tommy were more than happy to buy the stuff i collected. But, i only got halfway there.
i took a break after dinner and went to the museum to see all the specimens that i have been helping Blathers collect. It is turning out really nice but i can tell we have a long way to go yet.

my favorite is the butterfly conservatory. But they were all sleeping on the flowers. i will have to come back tomorrow to see them flittering about.
