Today’s outfit was inspired by Ven’s gift of a pink mum flower he hand picked and gave me. Appropriately named “mum’s girl”.
During my chores of banging rocks, chopping trees, i encountered a wasp. i tried to run away and catch it with my net but i was just too slow and it got me. my face swelled up so bad. i had to go to Nook’s Cranny shop and get some medicine.
Then i checked on my friends. Margie did move in! Hurray! my first elephant friend. i cannot wait for her to get settled in so we get to know each other better and become best friends.
Maybel made a trip out to my island today. i bought a few things and after i went to the museum. It is one of my favorite places, especially the butterfly room.
Mr. Nook had special event planned for today because it was May Day. He created a puzzle maze for us to figure out how to get through. If we did, we got 4 Bell vouchers. And, if the resources were managed just right, there were 5 extra Bell vouchers. i was able to complete the puzzle but could not figure out how to get to the extra vouchers.
When i got home i called Ven and he said he was able to figure out the puzzle and get the 5 extra Bell vouchers. i was grumpy because i felt stupid (not because of Ven but because when he told me the solution it was just so simple.)
We had a ceremony for the new incline. YAY! No more ladder! At least for that part. Just 2 more inclines – maybe 3 and 3 more bridges. i started the next incline and the construction on a house for a new friend. i heard that there was an inquiry of someone that wanted to move to the island. But can i ask what was wrong with the photographer in this one… we all look like we are gonna poop when we were trying to pop the confetti poppers!
i earned enough Bells to pay of my current loan and start the process to expand the house again. This time i want to add a kitchen.
Fishing until bed. i wore myself out so bad that i fell asleep in my clothes with the lights on!
